The Doctor Said …

There are still far too many people in society willing to place their lives blindly in the hands of another person just because they hold a degree in the field of medicine. Globally, Mr. Joe Citizen is conditioned to believe that an ‘expert’ knows best, or at the very least better than them. Its such a disempowering position to have and more so a dangerous one that I assure you has caused the unnecessary death of countless humans.

Before I continue, take a look at the promotions that took place in the 1940’s and 50’s around cigarette smoking. These are just a few that I selected from the smorgasbord of adverts that you can find on the internet. (These four are from the Standford education site on tobacco history.)

Doctors who endorsed brands were paid to promote cigarette smoking and encouraged to smoke themselves. In fact, there was a time when doctors were prescribing patients take up smoking an ‘asthma cigarette,’ to assist with alleviating the symptoms of asthma.  It was believed by some that the inhaling of a cigarette assisted in opening up the airways, thus allowing the patient to breathe deeper.

I guess we could look at this and conclude that ‘back in the day’ we didn’t know any better and it is not like that any more. We have evolved and medicine has come such a long way. The doctors of this day and age aren’t as gullible or easily mislead by such propaganda tactics. Right?

Do yourself a favor and spend some time on researching the history of a drug called thalidomide. In particular, if you are keen to be moved to a state of repulsion at what heartless money grabbing people are willing to do to us. Look for the images of what this drug did to our precious babies. Thalidomide was prescribed by doctors across the globe to pregnant woman to help with morning sickness. Here’s the thing that hopefully assists in providing an epiphany….

Australian Managers of the British firm that sold thalidomide to pregnant women actively covered up concerns relating to the link between the drug and its link in causing birth death and horrendous defects. Doctors were unaware, the public was oblivious and the people who did know, sat on the information while they continued to generate enormous revenue. An $89 million dollar class action settlement for thalidomide victims was settled in Australia and New Zealand in 2014.

What do you think happened to the drug?

Thalidomide is still sold today as pain relief for terminal cancer sufferers, such as myeloma and a bone marrow cancer, as well as being distributed in third world countries for the treatment of AIDS and leprosy.

I’ll spend the rest of my life trying to wake people up to the stark reality ‘medicine’ is a science and therefore a person who is deemed an ‘expert in this field is only as knowledgable as the limited information they have on hand. They do not know you, your body, your history, but you should. Falling ill is an unfortunate and in some cases unavoidable position to be in. I’m not suggesting that you don’t listen to your doctor. What I urge you to do is be far more vigilant with knowing your body, your history, your family history and do some research before you plunge into any ‘treatment.’

Stay informed, be empowered. If your doctor doesn’t encourage you to ask questions and participate in the consultation. My suggestion, get another doctor.

ITS A BILLION DOLLAR BUSINESS

Money isn’t the root of all evil. The people who are willing to do anything, by any means to obtain wealth and power are evil. Don’t allow yourself to remain naive to the fact that we are surrounded by a vortex of corporate greed that has designed a very clever pattern of supply and demand that keeps their wallets very fat.

When was the last time you took a blood test to check your vitamin deficiency levels before you reached for that ‘multi vitamin’ tablet? Do you actually understand the negative effects of continually taxing your body with excess vitamins? Look in your medicine cabinet to see how conditioned you and the ones you love have become to feeding the big pharma machine.

Your health is your responsibility.

“Isn’t it a bit unnerving that doctors call what they do “practice”?”
